Kamdon J. Whallon is a screenwriter, filmmaker, and Los Angeles Film School alum from Grand Rapids, MI.
He earned his B.S. in Writing for Film & Television with highest honors and was inducted into the Honor Society of the Entertainment Arts for his academic achievements and formal training in story theory, film analysis, television structure, character development, immersive storytelling, pitching, and the business of entertainment.
With experience across development, production, and performance, Kamdon has written for the stage, directed original short films, acted on camera, and collaborated on a wide range of narrative projects. His work spans feature-length screenplays, original television pilots, and adaptations of source material for the screen.
He specializes in high-concept thrillers that blend multidimensional characters and tightly wound drama with visceral spectacle that bleeds off the page—fueling his passion for echt cinema and driving him to write, produce, direct, and act in his own projects. As a multi-faceted creative adept in compelling audiences through thematic truth and stylized stories, Kamdon approaches his work as both craft and calling.
Outside the writer’s room, he has served as a guest teacher, ministry leader, and summer camp staff trainer—roles that have shaped his commitment to clear communication, creativity, and collaboration. With a background in national-level athletics, interior design and renovation, and hospitality, Kamdon brings a disciplined yet imaginative presence to every team he joins.
